Parkinson Association of Northern California

PANC Ambassador Program

The PANC Ambassador Program enables us to deliver educational presentations to various community groups regarding Parkinson's disease. Volunteers are trained as docents of the organization and can discuss PD, PANC's services, and answer questions.

Ambassadors should have a passion to help others learn about PD and convey how people with PD truly work to optimize their health and well being.  To become an Ambassador, one must attend a PANC training and have:

  • Interest /availability
  • Public speaking skills
  • Transportation
  • Ability to coordinate with PANC
Our goal with this program is to identify underserved areas and seek opportunities to speak to various communities and interest groups.

Public requests for speakers/Ambassadors may be made to the PANC office via E-mail or by calling (916) 546-8451 .

If you are interested in training as a PANC Ambassador, please contact us via E-mail or by calling (916) 357-6641.
